Overview
The A528 is an OEM UHF multiregional compact reader for integration into label printers, label applicators, handheld devices and in general any fixed or mobile short and medium range device requiring UHF tag programming and reading.
The A528 complies with and can operate in both European (ETSI EN 302 208) and US (FCC part 15) regulatory environments. It is programmable up to 500 mW conducted power.
The reader supports EPC Class1 Gen2 protocol.
The module uses the Intel® UHF RFID Transceiver R1000 and features a Gen2 Dense Reader Mode capability.
Due to its multiregional capabilities the A528 is ideal for integration in devices requiring compliance to different geographic regions. A service board (Mod. A528ADAT), which allows to manage the A528 via USB and RS232, is available.

Overview
The A928 is a multiprotocol long range reader developed in Europe fully compliant to the European ETSI EN 300 220 (869.525 MHz) regulation.
Capable of long distance reading using extremely low RF energy,the A928EU has been optimized to increase receiver sensibility and reduce transmitter noise. The A928 can cover distances of 5-6 meters (16-20 feet) with our A918 universal mounting passive tags.
The A928’s open architecture uses a multi-protocol technology.
The protocol interface was developed using a Field Programmable Gate Array which allows easy modification of the protocol definition. On the host side, a powerful 32bit micro-controller enables fast firmware updating for maximum upgradeability to future generations of UHF protocols.
Easily integrated with most popular database software and fully compliant to Philips UCODE EPC 1.19, ISO 18000-6B and EPC Class1 Gen2 protocols, the A928 can be used in conjunction with any tag compliant to the same standards.

Overview
The CAEN A828BT is a UHF portable reader compliant with ISO 18000-6B and ISO 18000-6C/EPC C1G2 standards. Thanks to Bluetooth communication the A828BT can be a perfect add-on to any bluetooth device such as PC, Smart Phone, PDA, Blackberry for proximity UHF readings.
The A828BT can operate either in wired mode, using the USB connection, or in wireless mode through the Bluetooth.

Overview
The CAEN A939 Vehicle Mount RFID Interface is a device that allows to identify and monitor the presence of a trailer via UHF RFID. It is a box that requires a 9-36VDC input and allows Bluetooth® class 2 / RS232 communications.

The A939 has an internal antenna that can be used for on-board badge identification of the driver and a connector for an external antenna. The external antenna can be mounted on the rear of the cab, thus allowing to read UHF tags located on the trailer surface up to 2m distance.

The A939 Vehicle Mount RFID Interface can be coupled with Bluetooth® enabled mobile devices, thus providing transfer of UHF RFID reading of tags via remote GPRS to a central server. If the coupled mobile device has a GPS on board, the complete system enables also geolocation and driver identification throughout the complete trip.
